Working Chimneys and Fireplaces
What is the difference between making actual fireplaces and ones that are sort of just there for show, to house a heater that is not really going to be fire-induced? Well, if you are going to be using actual fire you are going to need to set up a sturdy surface that can contain the fire. With chimneys, we need to make sure that they are designed in such a way that they are actually an outlet to release the smoke and fumes that are generated by a fire. The design has to be just right and we in particular do use brick for most of these structures. 
 
Building Non-Working Chimneys and Fireplaces
This is actually becoming more and more popular. People don’t necessarily want to light a fireplace within their homes. They like the idea of having that fireplace in the middle of the living room; it certainly gives off a very traditional vibe. Building these types of fireplaces is not going to be as tough really. We can use synthetic materials in the process and finish with brick veneer. If you want to build a chimney that looks perfect as part of your roofing design you are going to have a lot more freedom to put it wherever you want it.
